anyone of you have heard of Doom Day 2012?

in fact, i haven heard of this day before until today, when i did some blog hopping.
and i came across this random person blogging about this.

so i decided to do a mini research on it.

let me show you the video first, maybe you'll know more bout it.

after watching, what thoughts are going across your mind?
scary?
freaked out?
impossible?
will this be true?
oh dear, it's 4 years away only.

indeed these thoughts came across my mind?
but what's actually Doomsday is?

it's actually the reversal of magnetic poles in the Earth.
Doomsday is the end of the world, the end of the world that we know of.
Does it mean that we'll be dead?

of course, before anything happened on 21 December 2012,
there will be hints.
If you've watched the video above, you should have know that there will be an increase of

Drought
Floods
Hurricanes
Tsunamis
Earthquakes
Volcanic Eruption
Global Warming
Famine
Human Suffering
Disease
Disregards for Human Life
Wars
Rumours of War
Terrorist attacks
Nuclear Threats
Emergence of AntiChrist

Some these are considered as natural disaster.
Out of 16 of them, how many are within human control?
i mean global warming, we can prevent it, aint it?
Disregard for human life, human being caused.
and count how many are there actually caused by human being?

some how i think that,
if there's an end to this Earth, it would be human being's fault?

i guess noone wants this Earth to end, but look how sick is the Earth just by looking at the damage done to the ozone layer?

looking at this article, it triggers my passion for physical geography.
nah, i din't studied that in secondary school.
but i took H2 Geography in PJC.
i always thought it was fun.

indeed, it's fun.
But still it needs alot of understanding.

the different types of plates.
how does plates of the earth caused Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc.
Do they collide with each other, or they slide across each other.

also, the different layers of Earth, the crust and the inner layer.
all these are damn interesting, if you don't know. (((:

but at the same time, it's very theory.

attended yvonne's bbq today.
missed her wedding that day, for yingqi's birthday.

oh man! my dearest childhood friend.

who knows that she got married so soon.
looking at her pretty pretty wedding photos, made me wanna put on that gown.
but i know i wouldn't do that maybe another 6 years later.

and seriously, i wouldn't want to be tied down so fast.

frankly speaking, this friend of mine was shot-gun.
understood.
i mean who would wanna get tied down so fast when they still have the ability to play unless you're shot-gun right?

but i feel happy for her, because she's been with her husband for like going 7 years, and it's long.
and just let me wish her eternal love for her marrige. (:

seriously, i don't see any problems with shot-gun marriage when they're in a relationship for so long.
cm'on, it's 21st century.
and i'm brought up in an open society.
having such issues are very common in the society.
not just individuals.
to me, it's a normal issue not to be surprise of.
i know, it's not the kind of concept that everyone would accept, but that's my concept.
and i'm willing to admit that...

was chatting with caroli just now when i met her.
and we got common things which is get drunk!
ohh dear!
i din't know that she wants to get drunk also!
to me, so many trips of club, so many trips down to bars/pubs.
i had never once really got DEAD DRUNK!
what i look forward was DEAD DRUNK!
but the only condition is get drunk when celstay is around, i just dunno why.
